sitting at the front desk allows u to meet all sorts of ppl.from the courier man to VIPs aside from colleagues from diff departments.
and the incident just now made me realise how much more there is for me to learn.
i need to build up my self-confidence (altho Molly tells me im a confident person)and i need to be more outspoken.so yes, perhaps SMU is gonna be just the right place to groom such characteristics.
i mean some ppl have told me that SMU students are aggressive and really outspoken. they put them in such bad light. but come to think abt it, having to deal with so many ang mohs these days, u need just that. or u'll b on a losing end.
i find myself all jitterish when my big boss talks to me. and JUST NOW, 2 australians (1 of which is a chinese and his DAMN HOT!!!!!!!) spoke to me, introducing themselves and stuff like tt. i was for a moment lost for words. cause being the usual unfrenly, dao me. i would probably just smile, say hi and turn away. but i had to force myself to talk and be really warm bt their visit. and the fact tt they r australians, i felt the pressure to really speak well and eliminate the singlish. double stress.
P/S: i heard the chin australian is a Model ,who appeared in the DHL adv.
OMG. im gonna faintmelt.
